Seagull 414 Review – A Titanium Diver With Plenty of Color
The Seagull 414 is an original titanium diver from a brand with more than 70 years behind it. It comes from a company known not only for making watches, but also for producing movements such as the ST16, ST19, and ST25.
This model brings a full titanium case, titanium bezel, Seagull ST2130 automatic movement, sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, and a playful sunburst blue dial from the Color Holiday series. At around $300 before tax, it sits in a more ambitious budget space, with some strong points and one particularly unusual bezel detail.
Design & Case
The Seagull 414 measures 41.66mm in diameter, 12.7mm thick, and 47mm lug-to-lug, with a 20mm lug width. The case is full titanium, and the sand-blasted finish gives the watch a stealthy, tool-like appearance.
The case shape mixes diver ruggedness with more refined geometry. The midcase is relatively thin, while the lugs drop down aggressively from high near the bezel. They also flare outward, creating a slightly irregular geometric profile rather than a simple rounded case form.

The transitions from the flank into the lug hoods are handled through 45-degree bevels, giving the case more architecture than the first glance suggests. On the left side, the midcase remains rounded, while the right side becomes flatter, visually separating the 4 o’clock crown position. The signed screw-in crown measures 5.9mm and tucks into the flank when screwed in. The design language here will feel familiar to anyone drawn to rugged diver watches.
Movement & Crown
Inside the Seagull 414 is the Seagull ST2130 automatic movement. This is Seagull’s movement based on the ETA 2824-2 architecture, and it gives the watch a direct connection to the same manufacturer behind the case and dial.
The ST2130 is a high-beat automatic running at 28,800 vibrations per hour, or 4Hz. Power reserve is around 40 hours.

The crown sits at 4 o’clock and measures 5.9mm across. It is signed, screws in, and tucks neatly into the case flank when closed. That crown placement also lines up visually with the date window, which sits in roughly the same area on the dial.
Paired with the screw-down caseback, the watch is rated to 200 meters of water resistance, giving the 414 proper diver-watch practicality.
Bezel
The titanium unidirectional bezel has a tall coin-edge grip sitting above the case flank. There is a slight overhang, which makes the bezel easy to grip and turn.
The unusual detail is on the side of the bezel. Small screw-like elements sit within the coin-edge threading, placed between 11 and 12, 2 and 3, 5 and 6, and 8 and 9. The layout feels deliberately offset rather than positioned at the obvious cardinal points.

Those screws give the watch a more industrial titanium tool-watch character. They may have a functional role in the bezel assembly, but visually they also feel like part of the styling.
The bezel is a 120-click unidirectional setup with a printed 60-minute scale and a luminous pip at 12. Rotation is light, even, and ratchety, with clear clicks. There is no backplay at the detent, and it does not really land between clicks. We’ve seen similar design philosophies across other watches in this space, for example the titanium Watchdives WD007 v4 which also comes with a hi-beat automatic movement and sapphire crystal.
Strap
The watch comes out of the box on a genuine leather strap signed with Seagull branding. The outer surface has a matte black, almost oily finish, with white stitching running around the periphery.
The strap is thick and crude in style, measuring around 2.5mm. That works with the watch because it complements the rugged, stealthy titanium diver look. It also has two leather floating keepers and an oversized brushed milled clasp signed with Seagull branding at the tip.

Seagull also includes a rubber strap. On that strap, the outer layer is made to look like leather, while the inside is rubber. The branding remains consistent, with the strap and brushed milled clasp both carrying Seagull details.
Both straps use quick-release spring bars, so changing between the leather and rubber options is straightforward.
Crystal & Dial
Up top, the Seagull 414 uses a flat sapphire crystal that sits in line with the top of the bezel insert. Beneath it is the sunburst blue dial, with other Color Holiday variants including bright red, yellow, green, and more.

The deep rehaut leads down to the dial, with a printed minute track around the periphery. The hour markers are applied chrome-edged indices with a functional diver layout: a double baton at 12, single elongated batons at 3, 6, and 9, and circular plots for the remaining hours.
At around 4 o’clock, there is a cutout for the date window. The size is well judged, making the date easy to read at a glance.
Seagull is printed under 12, while the text above 6 reads “Color Holiday,” “Automatic,” and “Divers 200M.” The hour and minute hands are chrome-edged baton-style hands, joined by a chrome lollipop seconds hand.

In low light, the watch gives bright blue lume on the dial indices, hands, and the bezel pip at 12. It charges easily and lasts well.
Summary
The Seagull 414 is a titanium diver with a strong sense of identity. It has an original design, full titanium construction, a titanium bezel, sapphire crystal, 200 meters of water resistance, and the Seagull ST2130 high-beat automatic movement.
The case is one of the stronger parts of the watch. The sand-blasted titanium finish, aggressive lug downturn, 45-degree bevels, flatter crown-side profile, and tucked 4 o’clock crown all make the watch feel more considered than a simple diver case.

The bezel is the talking point. Its 120-click action is light but usable, with even resistance, no backplay, and clear detents. The screw-like elements in the coin-edge threading add an industrial visual quirk.
With the sunburst blue Color Holiday dial, applied indices, date at around 4, quick-release leather and rubber straps, and bright blue lume, the Seagull 414 delivers a lot of character for around $300 before tax. Within this sub $500 price bracket, there are a handful of compelling alternatives worth comparing.
