From the side, the midcase is tall and flat, finished in horizontal brushing. There are no sharp chamfers breaking that line, with transitions instead handled through smooth bevels. Movement & Crown
Inside the PD1782 sits the Seiko VK63 meca-quartz chronograph movement. It combines quartz accuracy with a more mechanical-style chronograph experience, where the central seconds hand sweeps when engaged and snaps cleanly back to zero on reset.
The pushers reflect that character. The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph, while the lower pusher resets it with a defined, tactile action. The feedback is crisp rather than soft, reinforcing the mechanical feel of the system.
