Addiesdive AD2547 Review – A Budget Everyday Watch That Defies Its Price
The Addiesdive AD2547 feels like a clear step forward for the brand’s budget lineup. It brings together stainless steel, a boxed and domed sapphire crystal, a Miyota automatic movement, a textured gradient dial, and 100 meters of water resistance, all at around $100 before tax.
This reviewed version has the magenta gradient dial, and that is where the watch really comes alive. It has the versatility of an everyday watch, enough polish to feel slightly dressier, and a dial texture that makes it feel more considered than a typical budget automatic. This release makes more sense when viewed alongside the rest of Addiesdive’s current lineup.
Design & Case
The AD2547 measures 38.7mm in diameter, 13.6mm thick, and 46.5mm lug-to-lug, helped by inverted end links. The lug width is a standard 20mm, and the overall footprint sits firmly in wearable everyday-watch territory.
The case has a soft, pebble-like fluidity to it. Visually, it looks smooth and rounded, but the transitions still feel crisp and well defined. From the side, the tall polished convex flank gives the case a slightly curvy, flowing shape.

Most of the case is polished, which gives the watch a more refined feel, while the lug hoods are brushed. That mix of surfaces creates light play as the watch moves.
The brushing direction and grain on the lug hoods closely match the bracelet end links, making the transition from case to bracelet feel almost seamless. The layered case design is also clear, with the screw-down caseback lip below and the tall polished fixed bezel above. This watch will likely appeal to those who appreciate similarly restrained and purposeful everyday watch designs.
Movement & Crown
Inside the AD2547 is the Miyota 8215 automatic movement. This is a Japanese self-winding caliber with 21 jewels, around 41 hours of power reserve, and a 3Hz beat rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

It is a dependable workhorse movement, and the review highlights one practical advantage in particular: serviceability. Miyota automatics are widely understood, and parts availability makes future servicing more realistic and affordable than with some obscure budget calibers.
The crown is signed, screws in, and measures 5.4mm across. It sits on the right-hand side and fits the watch’s practical everyday character.

Together with the screw-down caseback, the screw-in crown supports the stated 100 meters of water resistance. That gives the AD2547 a useful everyday specification while keeping the overall profile polished and versatile.
Bezel
The AD2547 uses a tall polished fixed bezel supporting the boxed and domed sapphire crystal. It forms part of the layered side profile, sitting above the polished convex case flank and giving the watch a more structured upper surface.
The polished bezel suits the rest of the case finishing. Most of the case is polished, and the bezel continues that smoother, more refined character while the brushed lug hoods add contrast at the top of the lugs.

It also works with the crystal shape. The boxed and domed sapphire sits above the case and gives the watch more visual height, while the polished bezel frames the dial cleanly from the front.
That combination matters because the AD2547 is largely about the dial. The polished case edge, domed crystal, and broad dial opening all keep the focus on the gradient texture beneath.
Bracelet
The bracelet is where the AD2547 becomes more mixed. It uses a five-link design with quite short, rounded links, and that does help the bracelet drape around the wrist.
The finishing is attractive at a glance. The central three links are polished, while the outer links are brushed, giving the bracelet a contrast between dressier polished centers and more restrained brushed shoulders.

Link fluidity and articulation are not an issue. The bracelet moves freely and should sit naturally on the wrist. The tolerances, however, are the weaker point. There are visible gaps between the links even before stretching the bracelet, and those gaps become more apparent when it is flexed.
The bracelet also uses push-pin construction, showing where some of the cost savings were made. The clasp is a step up: a signed milled unit with double push-button release, five micro-adjustment positions, and a milled folding wing inside.
Crystal & Dial
The dial is the strongest part of the AD2547. This reviewed version uses the magenta gradient dial, although aqua blue and navy blue versions are also available.
The lower half feels almost black, then gradually moves into dark purple around the middle before becoming brighter magenta toward 12 o’clock. The surface itself has an irregular brushed geometric texture, almost like overlapping frost patterns or angular crystal formations cut into the dial.

The lines scatter and intersect rather than moving in one direction, giving the surface more depth than a normal sunburst or flat dial. Because the texture is pronounced enough, it creates small micro-shadows as light moves across it.
Around the edge is a white printed minute chapter. Inside it are applied hour markers, with Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12, and elongated batons elsewhere. At 6, the baton is shortened because the date window sits just above it.
The markers are chrome-edged, and the date window is neatly set without a heavy shadow over the date. The Addiesdive logo is printed in cursive under 12, with “Automatic” and “100M” above the date.

The chrome-edged sword-style hands are distinctive, and the minute hand stretches almost all the way toward the rehaut. In darkness, the lume charges easily, glows bright blue, and lasts strongly.
Summary
The Addiesdive AD2547 feels like one of the more convincing examples of where budget AliExpress watches are heading. It has the right core specification: stainless steel, boxed and domed sapphire crystal, Miyota 8215 automatic movement, screw-in crown, screw-down caseback, 100 meters of water resistance, and a practical date window at 6.
The case is also better than the price suggests. The polished convex flank, brushed lug hoods, layered construction, inverted end links, and closely matched bracelet integration all make the watch feel more refined on the wrist.

The bracelet tolerances are the clearest compromise, with visible gaps and push-pin construction. Even so, the signed milled clasp helps recover some of that ground.
The magenta gradient dial is what makes the AD2547 memorable. Its dark-to-bright color shift, irregular geometric brushing, chrome-edged markers, sword-style hands, balanced date placement, and strong blue lume give the watch a real identity at around $100 before tax. This budget segment of the market continues to offer increasingly strong specifications for the money.
