The Proxima PX1750 is one of the brand’s newer 2026 releases, and it sits clearly in the dressy sports category. That is not always an easy space to get right, but visually this watch does have a strong identity.

The case measures 37.5mm in diameter, 12.5mm thick, and 43.5mm lug-to-lug. Some of that thickness comes from the boxed sapphire crystal profile, but the overall proportions remain compact. This should sit comfortably on wrists from around 4.5 inches and over. The case architecture and dial treatment place this within a recognizable family of everyday watch designs.

The lug width is a standard 20mm, which matters on a smaller case. It gives the watch a more planted, slightly sportier stance rather than making it feel too narrow or fragile.

From the side, the case has an elegant polished flank with a slightly convex, almost plump shape. The drilled lugs are an interesting detail on a polished dressier case, adding a practical touch without disrupting the overall refinement.

The PX1750 comes on a leather strap matched to the dial colour. With the red gradient dial, Proxima pairs the watch with a red leather strap. The green dial version comes with a matching green leather strap.

The strap feels good in hand. It is not stamped “genuine leather” on the underside, and that may simply be because the perforated design leaves less clear space for branding or stamping. Even so, it does not feel cheap or plasticky.

It feels pliable, comfortable, and well matched to the watch. The perforated surface also supports the sportier part of the dress-sport brief, giving the PX1750 a more relaxed wrist presence.

The strap includes quick-release spring bars, so changes are tool-free. That is especially useful here because the case also has drilled lugs, making the watch very easy to experiment with on other straps.

There are two floating keepers, and the buckle is milled with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. The tip is mostly brushed, while the side walls are polished, echoing the case finishing.

The buckle is unsigned, which is surprising from Proxima. Together with the unsigned crown, it feels like a small omission on a watch at this price.

Crystal & Dial

The dial is the main visual strength of the PX1750. Beneath the boxed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, the enamel surface gives the watch a richer and smoother appearance than a basic printed dial.

This version has a gradient red-to-black finish. The center is bright red and warm, then gradually darkens toward the edges until it becomes almost black around the periphery. That darker outer section frames the layout and gives the dial a more focused, contrast-rich look.

The Proxima PX1750 is not the cheapest watch in this space, but it does feel properly considered. The dial is the highlight. The red-to-black enamel finish has real depth, and the 6 o’clock date keeps the layout balanced and practical.
